As crazy as this sounds (but what do you expect in the year 2016?), it looks like Floyd Mayweather will come out of retirement and fight MMA star Conor McGregor for Mayweather’s 50 fight. The two sides are close to a deal and is rumored to be a billion dollar match (I’m not too sure about that but we’ll see).
The two have been taking (verbal and written) jabs at each for the past few months. I’m not sure what to expect if this deal gets done, but nevertheless TMT (The Money Team) will be cashing in on which seems to be a potential entertaining and luxurious fight. If this does happen, will McGregor “kill” Mayweather or will Floyd stay perfect at 50-0? What do you think the outcome will be? I don’t have a clue but this has definitely caught my attention.

I don’t understand how the press can cover this as having even the remotest possibility of happening. McGregor isn’t a boxer and Mayweather isn’t an MMA fighter. If it’s MMA rules McGregor will win in less than 30 seconds. If it’s boxing rules Mayweather will win in 1-2 rounds. It’s impossible. There’s no story.

McGregor really believes he can beat him in the boxing ring. The fact that he’s entertaining the idea is astonishing. He just wants to get paid as much as Mayweather if the fight was to ever happen.
