HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Ben Roethlisberger (Dallas @ Pittsburgh)
Roethlisberger played shaky in his first game back from injury against the Baltimore Ravens last week. “Big Ben” will be poised to get the Steelers offense rolling this week as they play host to a smoking hot Dallas Cowboys team. I expect for Roethlisberger to improve on his subpar performance from last week as he continues to get healthier. Roethlisberger has been a different animal at home, and it’ll be very difficult to bet against him there!!! Be sure to get “Big Ben” locked into your QB1 slot this week!!!
Carson Palmer (San Francisco @ Arizona)
Fresh off a bye week, Carson Palmer and company will be up against the dreadful secondary of the San Francisco 49ers who have surrendered multiple touchdowns to opposing QBs in all game but 1 this season!!! Before their week 9 bye, Palmer put up top notch numbers throwing for 363 yds and 3 scores and I foresee week 10 being another huge week for Palmer!!
RB
Jonathan Stewart (Kansas City @ Carolina)
In three games since returning from injury, Stewart has averaged 3.8 yards per carry and has also averaged 20 touches per contest with four total TDs over that span!!! This week, “J-Stew” is back at home against the Kanas City Chiefs, who were ran all over by both Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon for a total of 172 yards rushing and one TD!!! I see a huge opportunity for Stewart to be a top 10 RB play this week!!!
Jordan Howard (Chicago @ Tampa Bay)
In Howard’s outing last week, he ran wild against a very tough Minnesota Vikings defense for 153 yards and a score!!! With Howard dominating the touches over his backfield mates KaDeem Carey and Jeremy Langford, he could be in for one stellar outing against a poor Tampa Bay run defense!!! If the cards are played properly, Howard could find paydirt twice before the day’s end!!!
WR
Larry Fitzgerald (San Francisco @ Arizona)
Larry Fitzgerald was one of the hottest WRs at the beginning of the season, scoring 3 TDs in his first 2 games, but he has cooled off a bit since then. This week, I look for Fitzgerald to get back on track as he draws a matchup against a San Francisco defense that’s allowed 18 total passing touchdowns!! With injuries to Arizona’s receiving corp, Fitzgerald should be used heavily, especially in the red zone. I like “Fitz” to find the end zone this week!!!
Jordan Matthews (Atlanta @ Philadelphia)
I love Jordan Matthews for two reasons this week:  he is facing the Atlanta Falcons defense (who has allowed the second-most receiving TDs and the most receiving yards to opposing wideouts this season!!!) and the Eagles are going to have to score early and often to stay in the game against one of the leagues most potent offenses!! I see a land of opportunity for Matthews this week!!!
TE
Antonio Gates (Miami @ San Diego)
It’s good to see that “Ol Reliable” is still getting the job done in the sunshine state. Antonio Gates just continues to produce, tallying 28 targets, 14 receptions and 146 yards for two scores over the last three games!!! Gates has seen a tremendous target boost with the last few games, especially in the red zone!!! At home against the Dolphins this week, it’s safe to lock in future Hall of Famer as your TE1!!!
D/ST
Arizona (vs San Francisco)
Arizona is fresh off a bye week and hosts a very lackadaisical San Francisco 49ers team this week! I expect for Arizona to lead by a couple scores in this one, which would force San Fran to throw the ball often (resulting in multiple turnovers)!! This game is just what the doctor ordered for Arizona to get its inconsistent defense back on track!!! Expect a very solid stat line from the Arizona defense this week!!!

What’s Not❄
QB
Colin Kaepernick (San Francisco @ Arizona)
Colin Kaepernick had an awesome fantasy outing last week against the Saints, throwing for nearly 400 yds (398 passing yards) and two scores!! In just about every fantasy format, “Kaep” was surprisingly labeled a stud for the week. Kaepernick’s solid outing may very well be short-lived because this week I would bench him against a Cardinals defense that is allowing an average of 200 yards passing and one TD a game to opposing quarterbacks!!
RB
Christine Michael (Seattle @ New England)
Christine Michael was once a very reliable fantasy option, but it seems as if those days may be limited with C.J. Prosise cutting into his carries and Thomas Rawls nearing full strength. To make matters worse, Michael has a tough matchup on the road this week against the New England Patriots!! I’d keep Micheal on my bench this week until the Seattle backfield becomes less cloudy!!!
WR
Brandin Cooks (Denver @ New Orleans)
Brandin Cooks has been a boom or bust this year and very touchdown dependent as well. Cooks has a week 10 matchup with one of the best secondaries, and the number one ranked defense against wideouts in the Denver Broncos!!! Denver is fresh off shutting down one of the best duos in Oaklands Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper!! I would temper my expectations for both Brandin Cooks and Micheal Thomas this week!!!
TE
Julius Thomas (Houston @ Jacksonville)
Thomas has become TD or bust as of late, and I expect him to have a subpar performance in his matchup with the Texans this week! If Thomas doesn’t score this week, you could be looking at about 3 points in standard scoring!!! With Blake Bortles playing so terribly, I would avoid Thomas in most league this week if I could help it!!!
D/ST
Philadelphia (vs Atlanta)
If there was week to bench the third best defense in football, it’s Week 10!!! The Eagles are in line to face one of the most potent offenses out there in the Atlanta Falcons!!! Bench the Eagles D this week, and stream a team with an easier matchup!!! If Atlanta comes out with guns blazing, Philly could be in for a long day!!!

HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Dak Prescott (Dallas @ Cleveland)
What’s not to love about Prescott’s week 9 matchup against a winless Cleveland Browns team!? Dallas is one of the hottest teams in the league right now, and Prescott is a huge part of their success!! Prescott is coming off of a huge game against a very tough Philadelphia Eagle defense scoring 27 pts!!! If Prescott had that great of a game against one of the better defenses in the league, what do you think he’ll do to one of the worst!!! Start the rookie of the year candidate with confidence!!!

Philip Rivers (Tennessee @ San Diego)
For three weeks in a row, the Tennessee Titans defense has allowed at least 25 pts to opposing quarterbacks which bode well for a struggling Philip Rivers. Over the last 3 games, Rivers is averaging only 13 pts, but he has faced a brutal Denver defense in two of the last 3. Bottom line is that Philip Rivers is due for a productive outing, and I expect for Rivers to bounce back in this one.

RB
Charcandrick West (Jacksonville @ Kansas City)
Charcandrick West is expected to start with Spencer Ware going through concussion protocol. In a week where a total of 6 teams are on bye, West makes a great waiver wire option and should be inserted as a fine RB2 option. With Alex Smith also out and Kansas City not wanting to rely heavily on backup Nick Foles, I expect West will receive a heavy workload and turn that workload into a very solid fantasy outing in week 9!!! Pick West up and get him into your lineups immediately!!!

Jonathan Stewart (Carolina @ Los Angeles)
Ever since Stewart has returned from injury, he’s been scorching hot, scoring 4 TDs in his last two starts!!! Carolina has been a better team with “J-Stew” in the lineup as Carolina gained a much-needed boost in the rushing department!! I expect that Stewart will be used heavily in attempt to keep QB Cam Newton upright and injury free!!! Newton is known to steal goal line carries from Stewart in the past, but with Carolina wanting to minimize the hits on Cam, I expect Stewart will handle majority of the touches up close and turn them into scores!!!

WR
Davante Adams (Indianapolis @ Green Bay)
With Randall Cobb sidelined due to injury last week, Davante Adams stepped in and made the best of his opportunity, reeling in 12 catches on 14 targets for 73 yards. In the past two weeks, Adams has been targeted a whopping 30 times, turning that into 25 catches, 206 yards, and two scores!!! Adams has a great week 9 matchup against a poor Colts secondary that was gashed by the Chiefs last Sunday. With his recently gained rapport with QB Aaron Rodgers, I believe that Adams is in for another solid outing!!!

Dez Bryant (Dallas @ Cleveland)
He’s baaaack!! Dez Bryant wasted no time knocking the rust off from his 3 game absence, catching four passes for 114 yards and a score on whopping 14 targets!!! I like Bryant to continue his hot production against the winless Cleveland Browns. This is the matchup that fantasy owners dream of, and I believe that Bryant won’t disappoint. I’m sure that Bryant will have no problem posting top 5 WR numbers this week!!!

TE
Kyle Rudolph (Detroit @ Minnesota)
Kyle Rudolph has been pretty inconsistent this year but so has the entire Vikings offense. Even with Rudolph’s inconsistency, I love this weeks matchup against a Detroit defense who’s allowed 8 TDs total and the most points to TEs this season!!! With Rudolph being one of the better options in the passing game and a big red zone target, I expect that Rudolph will put together a very respectable stat line.

D/ST
Kansas City (vs Jacksonville)
Kansas City has been one of the hotter defenses in the league, scoring double-digit fantasy points in each of the last 3 games. With the turnover prone Jacksonville Jags coming to town, I like that trend to continue. It’s always very difficult to play in Arrowhead Stadium, let alone win there, and I expect for Marcus Peters and company to be too much for the Jags to overcome!!

What’s Not❄
QB
Blake Bortles (Jacksonville @ Kansas City)
The Jacksonville Jaguars has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments of the season, and Blake Bortles has been the main contributor to that disappointment. Bortles is coming off of a very solid performance at Tennessee throwing for 337 yds and 3 scores, but a huge chunk of his production came during “garbage time.” I don’t trust Bortles this week in such a hostile environment at Arrowhead Stadium. If you can help it, leave Bortles riding the pine this week.

RB
Latavius Murray (Denver @ Oakland)
Take away Murray’s TDs on the year and he’s fantasy irrelevant. It seems as if Murray’s success depends solely on his ability to find paydirt. It looks as if the Oakland offense is shifting towards being a pass first offense with Derek Carr passing the ball early and often, and that could cut into Murrays production!!! To make matters worse, Murray has a tough week 9 divisional matchup against the Denver Broncos!! Although I like Murrays chances on the goal line, I would still temper expectations for Murray until he proves himself to be more than TD dependent back!!!

WR
Marvin Jones (Detroit @ Minnesota)
Marvin Jones has been a fantasy diamond in the rough for the first few games of the season, but as of late, he’s seen a recent dip in production. Jones has been dealing with a foot injury which may have been the root of his unsatisfactory production. This week, Jones has a matchup against a pesky Vikings defense that has done a great job of shutting down opposing WRs!! The ceiling appears to be low for Marvin Jones this week!!!

TE
Julius Thomas (Jacksonville @ Kansas City)
The Jacksonville Jaguars offense is a mess, and Thomas has been ineffective in the passing attack. Jackson has scored in back to back games, but he’s caught no more than three passes in four consecutive starts. The Chiefs have allowed only one TD to opposing TEs all season and no one has more than 44 yards receiving yards. I expect Jacksonville to be down early in this one, therefore, I can only see Thomas finding paydirt in garbage time.

D/ST
Tennessee (@ San Diego)
Titans defense was a huge dissapointment in week 8 against Jacksonville with no INTS and just two sacks, and only scored 6 points last week in a game in which they let get out of hand late. As long as the Chargers can limit turnovers and sacks, I expect another subpar performance for the Titans defense!! Avoid the Titans D/ST this week if possible!!!

HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Andy Dalton (Cleveland @ Cincinnati)
Dalton gets a golden matchup in week 7 against a Cleveland Browns defense, allowing 16 touchdown passes in their first 6 games!! In the two games against the Browns last season, Dalton was phenomenal, scoring 27 points in both meetings!! Andy Dalton may be set up to have his best statistical game of the year by far!!! Lock Dalton in for QB 1 numbers this week!!!
Kirk Cousins (Washington @ Detroit)
Kirk Cousins and company will travel to the Motor City to face a very inviting Lions secondary who were aired out by Case Keenum and the Rams last week!! In the first six games, no one has given up more points to opposing QBs than the Lions!!! This matchup has all the makings of an old-fashioned shootout. Therefore, I expect Cousins to put up major numbers this week!!! Beam “Captain Kirk” into your QB1 slot with confidence!!!
RB
Spencer Ware/Jamaal Charles (New Orleans @ Kansas City)
Kansas City head coach Andy Reid wants to put a cap on Jamaal Charles workload by splitting carries with Spencer Ware. Although Ware had a monster game and dominated Charles in touches last week, I expect things to even up between them both as Charles works his way back to rare form. The Saints rank 30th in the league against the rush, therefore you can’t go wrong with either RB in the Kanas City backfield this week!!!
Devonta Freeman (San Diego @ Atlanta)
Freeman had a poor outing last week on the road against a tough Seattle defense, rushing for 40 yds on 12 carries and catching 3 passes for a measly 10 yds. This week, he has a more favorable matchup against a San Diego defense allowing 9 TDs to running backs this season!!! Even while ceding carries to backfield mate Tevin Coleman, I look for Freeman to make a strong rebound at home this week!!!
WR
Allen Robinson (Oakland @ Jacksonville)
Robinson is coming off his worse game of the season on the road against Chicago, catching 3 balls for only 49 yards!!! Many owners who drafted Robinson are somewhat displeased with his production thus far, as he’s failed to eclipse the 100-yard mark in any game this season. However, a date with Oakland at home this week may be just what the doctor ordered!!! I foresee Robinson getting back to WR1 numbers, while gaining over 100 yds this week against a poor Oakland secondary!!!
Amari Cooper (Oakland @ Jacksonville)
Early on, Cooper’s fellow wideout Michael Crabtree seemed to have more rapport with QB Derek Carr, but the tables have turned in the last few weeks where Cooper has been on fire with 267 yards and a score!! Crabtree seems to be more reliable in the redone but Cooper is still the clear cut number one guy in Oakland’s pass attack!! Up next is a meeting on the road against a porous Jags secondary where I see Cooper adding beautifully to his stellar stretch!!
TE
Hunter Henry (SanDiego @ Atlanta)
Since joining the lineup 4 games ago, Henry has caught 18 of 24 targets for 290 yards and 3 scores!!! At this point, we’ve seen enough from Henry to label his as a true TE 1!!! It seems as if Henry locked up the starting TE job over future Hall of Famer, Antonio Gates. Henry is up against an Atlanta defense who’s already surrendered 5 scores to TEs already this year!!! If you have Henry, play him and feel confident in doing so!!!
D/ST
Baltimore (@ New York Jets)
The Jets have turned the ball over at least one time every game this season and that stat alone makes the Baltimore defense a very attractive stream in week 7!!!! Ryan Fitzpatrick was benched in favor of Geno Smith last week, but both QBs still had at least one turnover!!! If the Jets offense continues to struggle and turn the ball over, Baltimore could be a legit top 5 play this week!!!
What’s Not❄
QB
Brock Osweiler (Houston @ Denver)
Statistics show that Osweiler performs terribly when blitzed this season, and guess who’s one of the highest ranked blitzing defenses. . .yup that’s it, the Denver Broncos!! Not many QBs have faired well @ Mile High stadium, and I’m adding Osweiler to that list!!! I expect for Denver to suffocate Osweiler and force him into making a bad decision or two. If you can help it, bench Brock as he faces his former team this week!!!
RB
Matt Forte (Baltimore @ New York Jets)
I know it’s tough to sit a name as big as Matt Forte’s, especially since he was a top RB in the first 3 games of the season. At this point, the Jets offense is a joke!!! During the 4 game skid, Forte is averaging 41 yards and no TDs per contest!!!  This week, Forte gets matched up against a top Baltimore run defense looking to bottle him up on all accounts!!! If I have better options, I’m playing it safe and benching Forte this week until the Jets offense decides to show up!!!
WR
Jordan Matthews (Minnesota @ Philadelphia)
Matthews has been solid all year, either scoring a TD or 65 receiving yards in every game, but his targets have taken a slight dip in the last 3 games (only being targeted 14 times)!! This week Matthews draws a matchup against a suffocating Vikings secondary that shut down the likes of Odell Beckham, Kelvin Benjamin, and DeAndre Hopkins!!! This isn’t a great matchup for any wideout so it’ll be best to bench Matthews if you have better options!!!
TE
Zach Ertz (Minnesota @ Philadelphia)
Ertz has one toughest matchups this week against the Vikings, who have yet to allow a TD to a TE all year!!! Ertz hasn’t been particularly productive since coming back from injury, and this game will be far from a coming out party!! This matchup is much too dangerous for Ertz owners!!!
D/ST
Pittsburgh (vs New England)
The Steelers are coming off of the worst defensive performance of the season on the road against Miami where they allowed a 200-yard rusher in Jay Ajayi!! Even though the Pittsburgh D plays much better at home, this week they play host to Tom Brady and company, and they have the tough task of stopping their dual TE tandem of Gronk and Martellus Bennett!! It’s going to be long afternoon for the Steelers D!!!

HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Marcus Mariota (Tennessee @ Cleveland)
Marcus Mariota finally put together the game that his fantasy owners have patiently waiting for!!! Mariota was a mistake-free, duel threat last week on the road against the Dolphins, tossing 3 scores and rushing for a fourth!!! This Sunday, Mariota and company host the winless Cleveland Browns in a matchup made in heaven!! I think it’s a safe bet that Mariota will continue to let the good times roll this week at home against one of the poorer defensive units in the league!!!
Russell Wilson (Atlanta @ Seattle)
Fresh off a bye, Russell Wilson gets a matchup against a 4-1 Atlanta Falcons team that just bested the defending champs, the Denver Broncos!!! Atlanta spoiled rookie QB Paxton Lynch’s first career start last week but. . .Russell Wilson isn’t a rookie!!! Wilson had an extra week of rest to heal his ankle injury, and I expect Wilson and company to come out with “guns blazing”!!! Atlanta comes in surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season which makes this matchup even sweeter!!!
RB
DeMarco Murray (Tennessee @ Cleveland)
This is one of the best matchups on the board this week!!! Cleveland is giving up 119.3 rushing yards per game this season, and I expect this week to be no different. I also expect that Tennessee will try to establish a lead early and try to “milk” the clock with plenty of carries from Murray!! I foresee Murray running wild in this one!!!
Christine Michael (Atlanta @ Seattle)
I am a huge Christine Michael fan, and I’ve been high on him all season. I believe that he has a very exploitable matchup at home this week against Atlanta!!! Atlanta has allowed 4.3 yards per carry, and  Michael will more than likely have a great day in the Seattle backfield wether carrying or receiving!!! Over the last few games during Thomas Rawls’ injury, Michael has been used heavily in Darrell Bevell’s offense!! With Michael’s huge workload, I expect for him be in for a very solid outing!!! Be sure to get Micheal in your lineups this week!!!
WR
Kelvin Benjamin (Carolina @ New Orleans)
Benjamin had a subpar outing against Tampa Bay with Derek Anderson under center last week ,and he looks to make amends against a New Orleans defense who can’t seem to stop anyone!!! If Cam Newton starts, Benjamin should be in for a stellar day in what seems to be a high scoring affair!!! Benjamin could find paydirt on more than one occasion this week!!!!
Doug Baldwin (Atlanta @ Seattle)
Doug Baldwin has been pretty inconsistent this season and yet, still quite affective. Over the past 2 years, Baldwin has established himself as the primary target in Seattle’s passing attack. This week, Russell Wilson’s favorite target is up against an Atlanta defense who has surrendered a league-high 14 touchdowns via the pass this season!!! This matchup has all the makings of a productive outing for Baldwin!!!
TE
Martellus Bennett (Cincinnati @ New England)
I thought that Martellus Bennett’s production would take a huge dip with Rob Gronkowski working his way back to full strength but boy was I wrong! Bennett is coming off a career game where he grabbed 3 TDs on 6 receptions for 67 yards!!! Both Tom Brady and Bill Belichick confirmed that they would love to utilize their dual TE sets more often. I’m not saying that they would automatically get back to the Gronk and Aaron Hernandez glory days, but it’ll definitely be worth keeping an eye on going forward!! Bennett draws a matchup against a Cincinnati defense who has been great against tight ends, but I still believe Bennett will prevail!!!
D/ST
Buffalo (vs San Francisco)
San Francisco has turned the ball over at least one time in every game this year and are coming off a Thursday performance where Blaine Gabbert was sacked a whopping seven times!!! (So much for ball control!!!) Buffalo has 17 sacks and 11 Take always this season and have been playing lights out as of late!! I expect for Buffalo’s defense to have a great game against such a turnover prone ball club!!!
What’s Not❄
QB
Phillip Rivers (San Diego @ Denver)
Phillip Rivers has been solid this season despite losing many of his top targets for the year to season-ending injuries. This week, Rivers has a brutal matchup on that road against one of the leagues best defenses in the Denver Broncos!!! Rivers averaged 11.5 fantasy points against Denver last year and I don’t see much of an improvement this week!! Rivers may very well have an average game because I expect them to trail early and abandon the run to chuck it a ton, but I wouldn’t bank on superior production against Von Miller and company.
RB
Jeremy Hill (Cincinnati @ New England)
Jeremy Hill has been quite the fantasy disappointment this season!! Hill has one great game on his 2016 resumé and that was against the Denver Broncos where he ran for 97 yards and two scores!! Hill also failed to top the century mark on the ground in every game so far this season!! This week, Hill has a meeting in Foxborough against the Patriots who are allowing the ninth fewest rushing yards and only two rushing TDs to RBs this season!! This matchup doesn’t bode well for someone so touchdown dependent as Hill.
WR
Travis Benjamin (San Diego @ Denver)
It’ll be difficult to trust any WR against Denver’s stout secondary. Denver has allowed only three receivers to gain more than 50 yards this season!!! San Diego is still without a clear cut number one wideout therefore, it makes anyone in their receiving corp that much difficult to trust. Hopefully you have better options at this week because starting a WR from San Diego can be extremely risky!!!
TE
Dwayne Allen (Indianapolis @ Houston)
Dwayne Allen finally had a great showing in week 5 to the tune of 6 catches for 50 yards and a score!! Allen has a tough matchup against a Texans defense that has held every TE in check so far this season!!! A tough matchup on the road plus Allen’s inconsistency all year earns him a spot on this week’s “Not” list!!! I believe that Allen will become more reliable as the weeks go on but this isn’t one of those weeks!!!
D/ST
Miami (vs Pittsburgh)
After a pretty good week one on the road in Seattle, the Miami Dolphin defense has been downright awful!!! This week, Miami is hosting one of the highest scoring offenses in the league in the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I don’t believe there is much that they can do to slow down such a high octane offense!! Let the poor play continue for the Miami Dolphins D!!!

HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Carson Wentz (Philadelphia @ Detroit)
The rookie signal caller has been nothing short of spectacular leading his team to a 3-0 record this season!!! In his first 3 NFL starts, the rookie has thrown 5 TDs and not a single INT!!! It looks like Wentz is without a doubt the Offensive Rookie of the Year front-runner throughout the first quarter of the season!! Wentz is fresh off of a bye, and draws an exploitable Lions defense this week. I foresee Wentz continuing his hot streak as Philly and company travels to the Motor City!!!

Brian Hoyer (Chicago @ Indianapolis)
It seems that the veteran Hoyer has done all but lock up the Bears’ starting QB job, even when Jay Cutler becomes healthy again!!! Hoyer has been pretty efficient over his past two starts, throwing over 300 yards per game and 4 TDs and 1 INT combined!! This week, Hoyer has a matchup against a Colts defense that has given up a ton of yards through the air this season. I expect a very solid outing for the savvy veteran. If you have a QB on bye this weekm Hoyer would be a pretty solid fill in!!!

RB
DeMarco Murray (Tennessee @ Miami)
DeMarco Murray has gotten off to a scorching hot start this year!!! At week 5, Murray is fantasy football’s number one running back!!! Coming into the 2016 season, many people didn’t know what to expect from Murray. Murray’s expectations were low after coming off of a short, but disastrous stint, in Philly, and with the Titans drafting the super talented rookie Derrick Henry. I think many people expected some sort of running back by committee, but that clearly hasn’t been the case!!! As of right now, Murray is the clear cut number one guy in the Titans’ backfield!!! If you own Murraym you’ll definitely want to start him this week against a Dolphins defense that has allowed the fifth-most rushing yards to opposing backs this season.

Jordan Howard (Chicago @ Indianapolis)
With injuries to both Jeremy Langford and Ka’Deem Carey, Howard made the best of his time in the starting role by gaining 111 yards on 23 carries in a win over Detroit!!! Howard looked pretty darn good ripping off a couple big runs and catching the ball out the backfield!!! Even when Langford was healthy, he still didn’t make the same impact that Howard made last week. I expect for the Bears to ride the Howard wave, even when Langford and Carey are able to go. Howard gets a great matchup @ Indy this week, and I can see a repeat of the Detroit game all over again!!!

WR
Julian Edelman (New England @ Cleveland)
Edelman hasn’t been terrible this season, but he hasn’t been the PPR monster that we are used to seeing. However, with Tom Brady making his return from his four-game suspension, I think that will change!! Edelman will see a significant uptick in targets and overall usage once number 12 is back under center!!! Edelman is soon to become the WR that we are all accustomed to seeing and with a week 5 matchup against a very shaky Cleveland defense, he’ll be in rare form sooner than later!! No one is happier right now than Julian Edelman and all of his fantasy owners!!!!

Micheal Crabtree (San Diego @ Oakland)
Crabtree is one of the hottest WRs in fantasy football!!! He’s off to one heck of a start with 26 catches for 308 yards and 4 TDs in his 4 games!!! Derek Carr has found great chemistry with Crabtree, especially in the red zone where he does most of his damage!!! So far this season, Crabtree has even outplayed his counterpart Amari Cooper. I expect Crabtree to stay on a roll this week as he’s up against a shaky San Diego secondary!!!

TE
Kyle Rudolph (Houston @ Minnesota)
Scoring a TD in three straight games, Kyle Rudolph is quickly becoming Sam Bradford’s number one target! In all four games this season, Rudolph had at least 7 targets or more and with that type of volume, Rudolph is looking like a true number 1 TE with Houston coming into town this week!!

D/ST (New England @ Cleveland)
The Patriots defense isn’t particularly the cream of the crop, but I love their matchup against a winless Cleveland Browns team!!! The Patriots have fun at making uncomfortable situations for rookie quarterbacks!! I expect the Pats to build up a large lead and force Cody Kessler into plenty of mistakes trying to play “catch up”!! I think the New England defense is “licking their chops” at this matchup!!!

What’s Not❄
QB
Brock Osweiler (Houston @ Minnesota)
Minnesota has quietly become one of the top defenses in the league and has been shutting down star quarterbacks in the process!!! Top tier quarterbacks such as Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton couldn’t even escape “Purple Reigns” wrath!!! Osweiler has thrown more INTS than TDs this season, and that is not a recipe for success against such a stout defense!!! If you own Osweiler please do yourself a favor and keep him on the bench this week!!!

RB
Ryan Mathews (Philadelphia @ Detroit)
Mathews was off to a pretty good start the first few weeks until he injured his ankle in a week 3 matchup with Pittsburgh. In Mathews’ absence, both Wendell Smallwood and Darren Sproles performed beautifully!!! Even when Mathews gets back to full strength, I still believe he will cede some carries to Smallwood. I’m not saying all hope is lost for Mathews, but the emergence of Smallwood puts a damper in Mathews’ production plans.

WR
John Brown (Arizona @ San Francisco)
Carson Palmer has been ruled out as he goes through the NFLs concussion protocol, therefore, Drew Stanton will get the nod Thursday at San Francisco!! What was sure to be a great matchup for Brown has quickly downgraded!! You can’t be too certain of any Cardinals receiver this week with Stanton under center!! Brown does have the potential of putting up solid numbers in this week’s matchup, but without Palmer, it’ll be a bit of a risky play!!!

TE
Jason Witten (Cincinnati @ Dallas)
What was once a big name, surefire TE1 is now a TE3 at best!! It seems as if Witten’s days as an elite pass-catching option are behind him! Aside from a few grabs here and there, don’t expect Witten to give you too much of anything from a fantasy perspective. Witten has yet to find the end zone this year, and I can see that trend continuing this week against a strong Cincinnati defense!!! I hope you have better options because you have to sit the future Hall of Famer until further notice!!!

D/ST
Atlanta (@ Denver)
I don’t think that Atlanta has enough firepower on defense to put out a red-hot Denver offense who has been clicking on all cylinders as of late!!! Atlanta’s secondary is also susceptible to giving up the big play to opposing wideouts so I expect both Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to have a field day!!! Expect a rough day from the “dirty bird” D!!!

HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Kirk Cousins (Cleveland @ Washington)
I love Captain Kirk’s matchup at home vs Cleveland this week! Every QB that has faced Cleveland in its first 3 weeks had at least 2 TDs, and I don’t see why Cousins can’t keep that trend going!!! Cousins has been far from stellar this year, but this week against a generous Browns defense, he could very well be a top 10 QB!!!
Andy Dalton (Miami @ Cincinnati)
Like Cousins, Dalton is at home against a very exploitable defense in Miami. Dalton has been a bit shaky so far this season, but I expect this game to be a bit of a coming out party for “The Red Rifle”!! This is the first week of byes, and Dalton would be a great plug and play for the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Carson Wentz owners!!! (Green Bay and Philly both idol)
RB
Carlos Hyde (Dallas @ San Francisco)
I was a bit worried about Hyde after his foot injury that kept him out of 9 games last season, but so far he’s been running with both power and explosion!!!! Hyde is fresh off of a 100 yd, 2 TD game and is looking to duplicate that performance against a Dallas defense that allows 4.8 yards per carry!! Dallas is ranked 28th in the league against the run so I expect for Hyde to have a very solid outing!!!
Jeremy Hill (Miami @ Cincinnati)
Jeremy Hill is coming off of a huge game against arguably the best defense in the league in the Denver Broncos!!! This had to be a tremendous confidence boost for Hill who has been a fantasy “no show” the first 2 weeks. If Hill can put up a 97yd, 2 TD stat line against the defending champs, he can surely put up similar numbers against the Dolphins right??
WR
Allen Robinson (Indianapolis @ Jacksonville)
Robinson owners were finally rewarded in week 3 when he finally got in the end zone twice against Baltimore!!! Coming off of a phenomenal 2015 campaign, I think we were all expecting more from Robinson right off the bat. This week he draws the Colts, and I think everyone will finally get the production that they were waiting for!! I see Robinson as a strong WR 1 this week against a banged up Colts secondary!!!
Marvin Jones (Detroit @ Chicago)
Marvin Jones channeled his inner Calvin Johnson last week to the tune of 6 catches, a whopping 205 yds, and two scores!!! Jones is the clear cut number one guy in the Lions pass attack where Stafford likes to chuck it a ton. Jones has the makings of being an elite WR 1 in many games this season!! This week he’s on the road against an error-prone Bears defense, so I expect for another solid game for Jones!!!
TE
Zach Miller (Detroit @ Chicago)
Miller put up a 78 yd, 2 score day on the road against Dallas last week!!! Miller is one of those TEs who flew under the radar and went undrafted in most leagues, but this week he’s up against a Lions defense that already surrendered 5 TDs this season. He’ll definitely be worth a waiver stream!!! It’s a very good chance that Miller will find paydirt against a team that allowed more fantasy points to opposing TEs than any other team this season!!!
D/ST
Minnesota Vikings (vs New York Giants)
When you can go up against the likes of Aaron Rogers and Cam Newton and do more than hold your own, you are more than deserving of a spot on this list!!! In every game this season, the Vikes have held their opponents under 16 points a game which is amazing considering their last two games were against Green Bay and Carolina!!! The Vikings are the hottest defense in the league and should perform just fine at home against Eli and company this week!!!
What’s Not❄
QB
Jameis Winston (Denver @ Tampa Bay)
Winston had one heck of a game against the Rams last week where he threw for over 400 yds and 3 scores!!! I can’t see him having that caliber of a game against one of the leagues best in the Denver Broncos. I believe the Broncos will look to make Winston as uncomfortable as possible and try to force him into as many errors as possible. I look for Denver to bring Winston back to down to Earth this week!!!
RB
Jay Ajayi / Kenyon Drake (Miami @ Cincinnati)
I hate the words RUNNING BACK BY COMMITTEE!!! With the recent injury to starting RB Arian Foster, it looks to be a time share in the Miami backfield. Until Foster returns  it seems like the Dolphins’ backfield is a bit cloudy so I would stay away from both of these guys until there is more clarity. Miami draws a tough Bengals defense on the road so that doesn’t help out their situation one bit.
WR
Golden Tate (Detroit @ Chicago)
With the emergence of Marvin Jones, Tate’s stock has dropped tremendously!!! Tate was pretty darn good last year alongside the likes of Megatron, leaving fantasy owners thinking his numbers would be the same if not a tad better in Calvin Johnson’s absence. However, that clearly isn’t the case. Last game, Tate took a backseat to Jones, Riddick and Ebron in the passing game!!! So until he proves himself to be the complimentary receiver he once was, he’s better left riding the pine!!!
TE
Martellus Bennett (Buffalo @ New England)
It looks like Rob Gronkowski is working his way back to full strength and soon Bennett will become pretty fantasy irrelevant!! Once a big name, Bennett is now as inconsistent as they come!! With Gronk getting closer to 100 percent, it’ll be a safe bet to leave Bennett on the bench until further notice!!!
D/ST
Buffalo (@ New England)
Buffalo is coming off of its best defensive performance of the year forcing 4 INTS and a touchdown as they surprisingly upset the Arizona Cardinals at home. This week, Buffalo is on the road in Foxborough as the face the Patriots in a divisional showdown!! I won’t expect a repeat of week 3 from the Bills going up against Belichick and company!!! Hostile environment plus a Hall of Fame coach equals a rough night for the Buffalo D!!!

HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
QB
Phillip Rivers (San Diego @ Indianapolis)
Normally I’m not too high on Rivers due to his lack of consistency, but this week I love his matchup against a battered and bruised Colts defense. The Colts defense is allowing an average of 18.7 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, and I expect Rivers and his pass-happy offense to take full advantage!!!
Matt Ryan (Atlanta @ New Orleans)
Show of hands for who anyone who thought that Matt Ryan would be your number one player for points scored in the first two weeks. . .anyone?. .anyone?. .nope me either!!! This week, Ryan draws the matchup of a porous New Orleans defense!!! Use Ryan while you can because the Falcons schedule toughens up significantly in the weeks ahead. However, for now, it looks like “Matty-Ice” is in for another top 5 QB week!!!!
RB
Melvin Gordon (San Diego @ Indianapolis)
With Danny Woodhead now confirmed out for the year with a torn ACL, I expect an uptick in usage for Melvin Gordon in the SanDiego backfield. Although they signed Dexter McCluster, a player with a style similar to Woodhead, I still expect for Gordon to do well against a defense that has surrendered 5 TDs on the ground in its first two matchups! I don’t think Gordon will eclipse 100 yds rushing, but he’ll definitely get the looks near the goal line where he has been money in the bank!!!!
Matt Forte (NYG @ Kansas City)
Coming off a triple TD game against Buffalo, Forte is as hot as any RB in the league right now!! What makes Forte a top play week in and out is not only his ability to carry the ball but his ability as a pass catcher too!! It makes it even harder to sit him in PPR leagues. The Jets have made him a huge part of their offense in the first two games, and as long as Forte stays healthy, I don’t see that changing anytime soon!!! Even though Kansas City’s defense is far from a pushover, you can’t deny Forte’s usage and volume as he’s a threat to score through air or on land any given week!!!!
WR
Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona @ Buffalo)
The age-less wonder, who seems as young and fresh as ever, has already posted 3 scores this year!! He’s still Carson Palmer’s go-to guy in a very talented receiving corp! Much doesn’t seem to get past Fitzgerald as he always makes the best of his targets year in and year out!!! I see a very solid matchup for Fitz this week as he’s up against a suspect Bills secondary that was ripped to shreds against Ryan Fitzpatrick and company last week!!!
Travis Benjamin (San Diego @ Indianapolis)
Since the loss of Kenan Allen, Benjamin has become the top target in San Diego’s pass attack. Benjamin posted 6 catches for 115 yards and 2 scores against Jacksonville, and with Rivers looking Benjamin’s way early and often, I don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t post similar numbers against the Colts’ generous secondary!!! I have Travis Benjamin as a high-end WR2 with WR1 potential this week!!!
TE
Dennis Pitta (Baltimore @ Jacksonville)
Dennis Pitta flew under the radar last week with a whopping 9 catches for 102 yards!!! He lead all Ravens pass catchers in targets in week 2 with 12 and is quickly becoming Flacco’s favorite target!! Pitta gets the matchup against a Jacksonville defense that has given up some big games to TEs in the past. Given his usage as of late, I can easily see Pitta being a top plug and play option this week considering he went undrafted in most leagues!!!
D/ST
Arizona (@ Buffalo)
The firing of offensive coordinator Greg Roman gives an indication on how Buffalo’s offense is doing through the first few weeks. It seems like the Bills are in a tough spot this week as they play host to an extremely talented Arizona defense! With things in disarray in Buffalo, now seems like a great time to plug in Arizona’s D/ST with confidence!!!
What’s Not❄
QB
Tyrod Taylor (Arizona @ Buffalo)
(Sighs) It really hurts me to do this to such a quarterback with tremendous potential, but with the offense looking so inconsistent from week to week and a tough matchup against Arizona, it looks like Tyrod Taylor deserves a spot on this list this time around. Hopefully, you have a better option at QB because this doesn’t seem like it’ll be Taylor’s week. (Insert Jordan crying face here)
RB
Devonta Freeman (Atlanta @ New Orleans)
Even though I love the matchup this week against the Saints, it seems like the Atlanta backfield has become a bit messy with the emergence of Tevin Coleman, who scored Atlanta’s only TD on the ground last week. Coleman seems to be used in the passing game while Freeman being used on early down situations. Either way, it seems like there is no clear cut number 1 guy in this backfield as long as Coleman’s solid play continues. So be mindful of any use of a running back in this cloudy backfield!!! I also love Coleman a lot more in PPR format!!
WR
Sammy Watkins (Arizona @ Buffalo)
A WR with a foot injury. . . yep. . .proceed with caution!!! It seems to me that Sammy Watkins has been used more of a decoy than anything else! Personally, I would leave this super talented WR on your bench until he shows signs of being near full strength!! I know it hurts to see a big name like Watkins on the bench but sometimes it’s better to be safe than sorry. However, being matched up against Patrick Peterson and a talented Arizona secondary should make benching him a little easier!!!
TE
Gary Barnidge (Clevland @ Miami)
2015 Breakout TE Gary Barnidge just lost his QB, Josh McC own, who made said breakout year possible. Barnidge was McCown’s favorite weapon of choice when he was the signal caller for the Browns last season. Since McCowns injury is more serious than expected, I expect for “Barney” to be put on the shelf until further notice!!! We’ll have to wait and see if Kessler or whoever is at QB can rekindle that same magic that McCown and Barnidge once shared!
D/ST
Philadelphia (vs Pittsburgh)
Philly has surprisingly been a top fantasy defense throughout these first two games (although it can be a little misleading when playing Cleveland and Chicago), but coming off a short week and going up against one of the league’s top offensive units in the Pittsburgh Steelers, I expect that trend to change!!! The Steelers are built to light up the scoreboard quick, fast and in a hurry, and I see tough sledding for Fletcher Cox and company.
