HOT OR NOT 🔥❄️ (D.Reed)

What’s Hot🔥
Jameis Winston (Oakland @ Tampa Bay)
“Famous Jameis” is fresh off of a solid outing on the road against San Francisco, tossing 3 scores and 1 INT!! I expect for Winston to duplicate his solid performance this week against a very exploitable Oakland secondary. The Oakland defense has allowed 13 touchdown passes this season, therefore, the “Winston to Evans” connection will be in full effect!!! In a week where a total of 6 teams are on bye, Winston is a great streaming option at QB!!!
Matt Ryan (Green Bay @ Atlanta)
Last week against San Diego, Ryan posted a subpar stat line of 273 yards through the air for 1 TD and also threw 1 INT, but I expect for Ryan to bounce back against Green Bay at home. “Matty Ice” has been one of the most consistent and productive fantasy QBs this season, and I expect that production to continue against an injury-ridden Packers secondary!!! If this game turns out to be the shootout, and I think it will be, Ryan may very well be in for one of his best games of the year!!!
Jacquizz Rodgers (Tampa Bay @ Oakland)
In the two games since taking over the starting backfield in Tampa, “Quizz” has a whopping 62 total touches for 292 total yards (255 rushing, 37 receiving)!!! With that type of usage, Rodgers is a must-start this week against an Oakland defense allowing 5 yards a carry to opposing running backs!! With Doug Martin listed as doubtful for yet another week due to hamstring injury, all signs are pointing to another solid outing for Rodgers!!!
Christine Michael (Seattle @ New Orleans)
Christine Michael was in an old-fashioned defensive battle on the road last week against Arizona where he managed only 52 yards on 16 carries!!! It was a tough week not only for Michael, but majority of the Seahawk offense!! This week Michael is matched up against a Saints defense that has been awful against the run this season. With such a favorable matchup this week, Michael could be in for a very productive day!!!
Brandon Marshall (New York Jets @ Cleveland)
What’s not to love about Marshall’s week 8 matchup against an 0-7 Browns team!!!?? For the past two weeks, Marshall has been in a mini slump, but with Ryan Fitzpatrick back under center, I expect Marshall’s production, or lack thereof, to make a full recovery!! Plug Marshall in at the WR1 spot this week with confidence!!!
Randall Cobb (Green Bay @ Atlanta)
Cobb is coming off of his best fantasy game of the season with 11 grabs for 95 yards and a score! Cobb also tallied 5 rushes for 21 yards!! Cobb gets an Atlanta defense who has been far from stellar this year, therefore, I predict that Cobb will have a very productive day on the road in week 8!! All receivers in the Packers’ receiving corp could be in for a fantastic outing, but I believe that Cobb will be the most productive since he does most of his damage out of the slot!!!
Jimmy Graham (Seattle @ New Orleans)
Jimmy Graham has been targeted at least 8 times in four games, and with Russell Wilson looking his way early and often, Graham could be in for a productive day on the road against the Saints. I’m thinking that Jimmy Graham would love nothing more than to get into the end zone against his former team and do his signature slam dunk on the goal posts!!! Graham could be in for his best game of the season!!!
New York Jets (vs Cleveland)
Last week, the Jets defense posted their best defensive game of the season against Baltimore, forcing 2 INTS and forcing a fumble!!! Five D/ST units have scored at least 10 fantasy points against the Browns this year, therefore, I expect for the Jets defense to build off their performance from last week and log in another solid defensive outing!!!

What’s Not❄
Tyrod Taylor (New England @ Buffalo)
Even though Taylor faired well (17 pts) against the Pats in Foxborough, I expect it to be different this time around! With injuries to his top play makers LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins, that could lead to New England putting all the pressure on Taylor and his group of unproven skilled position players (not to mention Tom Brady off suspension this time around)!!! Taylor looks to be in for a rough day against the Pats who looks to avenge their week 4 loss!!!
T.J. Yeldon (Jacksonville @ Tennessee)
The Jacksonville backfield has been in disarray as both T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory failed to make a fantasy impact over to the last few weeks. It’s tough to start a player on a team that uses the dreaded “running back by committee”, and to add more insult to injury, the Jags have a tough matchup on the road against a tough Tennessee Titans defense that’s been stingy against opposing RBs. If you can help it, stay away from both RBs in the Jags backfield this
Alshon Jeffery (Minnesota @ Chicago)
Alshon Jeffery is having a very disappointing fantasy season so far, and things don’t seem to lighten up for him as he gets a brutal week 8 matchup against a Vikings defense that has held every WR they’ve faced in check this year!!! Jeffery may get a slight bump if Cutler plays this week, but I don’t believe it will be enough to overcome such a stout defense!!! Temper your expectations with Alshon this week!!!
Coby Fleener (Seattle @ New Orleans)
This week, Fleener gets a Seattle defense that currently allows only five fantasy points per game to opposing TEs and has yielded just one TD all season!!! Fleener put up a stinker last week (4 pts) against Kansas City and could be in for the same, as he looks to rebound against a top notch defense. Fleener should be avoided if possible!!!
Buffalo (vs New England)
The last time Buffalo played New England in week 4, the Bills scored 15 fantasy points, but they played against a Tom Brady-less Patriots team!!! With Brady back under center, it will be a long day for the Buffalo Bills defense as Brady will look to keep his hot streak alive in this divisional showdown!!! I’m sure you can find better options at D/ST this week!!!
