It’s Been 3+ Years… BUT I’m Back With Purpose!

Man… It’s been a while (a little over 3 years to be exact) since I’ve blogged. At one point, I didn’t think I would ever come back to this due to life. It’s been an eventful 3 years but positive. I became a family man, started a couple of businesses, co-hosting a sports Podcast called The Early Morning Sports Talk Podcast (TEMSTP), started a fantasy football podcast called the Destination Fantasy Podcast, and many other things! However, I knew something was missing from my life as I ventured out into other interest. There was a void that couldn’t be filled or replaced by another activity. When I started JGoodWithSports back in 2015, I had aspirations on turning this into something big. There has been a lot of hours dedicated to this lifestyle. My love for sports has been apart of me since I can remember. The motivation for starting this blog came after a vacation I took in May of 2015 to New Orleans. Yes, I enjoyed myself but parts of the trip that I experienced gave me purpose to put something that I love into action.

Now that I’m back, I feel like everything has come full circle. Marques Houston once said “if you love something let it go, and if it comes back then it’s how you know”… I asked myself “now what?” as I’m dusting off the JGoodWithSports brand. I do have plans, major ones. I’m living by the “go big or go home” attitude at this point. That “YOLO” mindset is embedded in my head when it comes to this, and time waits for no one. Over the next several weeks, you will see me piece together something magnificent that will become something special. This is something that I’ve been thinking about for a couple of years now, but recently, has taken over my heart. I will make the official announcement as we get closer. Ultimately, I couldn’t even attempt what I’m doing without all the people that has supported me since day one. 6 years ago, I took a chance and didn’t know how I was doing. This morning when I logged in for the first time in over 3 years, it was an eye-opening feeling. All the posts, statistics, and accomplishments from the beginning gave me validation that what I plan on doing is the right thing. Thank you all. Please stay tuned!
